Jackknife

This exercise strengthens your whole powerhouse, upper and lower body.

  1. Target muscles: core muscles, legs and back.
  2. Benefits: strengthens your core as you pull yourself up, and as you keep your body stable in the upright position. It also stretches your back and hamstrings.
  3. Attention: this is a very advanced exercise. Avoid this exercise if you have any spinal or hip issues.
